Resetting to Default Settings Using the MODE Button/span
Follow these steps to reset the access point to factory default settings using the access point MODE button:
1. Disconnect power (the power jack for external power or the Ethernet cable for in-line power) from the access point.
2. Press and hold the MODE button while you reconnect power to the access point.
3. Hold the MODE button until the Status LED turns amber (approximately 1 to 2 seconds), and release the button. All access point settings return to factory defaults.
下面的这些步骤是通过MODE按钮去重启AP：
1、断开AP的供电。
2、当你重新上电就按住MODE按钮。
3、按住MODE按钮直到LED等“琥珀色”闪烁（大约1-2秒），并且释放按钮，如此可以恢复出厂默认设置。
上述方法应该是LAP和Auto AP都实用的。
下面的方法针对于Auto AP：
特别注意，在重置前后，千万别删除任何的系统文件！
1、GUI界面去重置：
1.1、打开浏览器（要考虑兼容性）
1.2、输入AP的IP地址，进入登录界面，输入用户密码（默认的用户名是Cisco/Cisco）
1.3、点击“System Software”→“System Configuration”→“Reset to Default”/“Reset to Default(Except IP)
2、通过CLI界面去重置：
如果你想重置AP但是保留IP地址，可以输入:write erase 或者 erase /all nvram
如果你想重置AP的所有配置，除了上述命令之外，还需使用erase和erase boot static-ip static-mask命令
在特权模式下，你可以通过如下的步骤去重置AP/bridge：
2.1、输入命令：erase nvram >>>擦除包括startup config的NVRAM文件，但是不会擦除IP地址。
2.2、输入命令：write default-config >>>擦除IP地址和掩码（如需要的话配置这一命令，如果不需要进入2.3）
2.3、Y
2.4、reload
2.5、Y
出厂默认的IP地址获取方式是DHCP。
特别注意：注意不要中断boot process 以避免损坏配置文件。 等到AP/bridge LED等开始闪烁绿色后再继续进行CLI配置更改。 加载过程完成后，您还可以看到以下CLI消息：Line protocal on Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to up.
