We all know that there are many advantages to further one’s education in a foreign country. From my view, I imagine their thoughts are more open. Though my friends seldom learn in a foreign country due to my limited friends circle. During my work, one of my colleagues educated in a foreign county. She had some special thoughts when she dealt with some troubles. Compared with us, she may care more about the team cooperation on the work and she understood more how to protect someone’s privacy in the life.
Daisy from our church has a son learning in a foreign country. I heard that he educated from the middle school in Singapore. Now he has entered a University to further his education in Australia. I met him twice in the church last month. Though he looked a little introversion, he had a special temperament. During his studying, he always had a good performance. Now he is working in a company in ShangHian as an internship. His income has exceeded some people working for several years after educating from china’s universities. If someone have a chance to learn in a foreign country, it is a good opportunity to improve his abilities and expand his horizons. It is more different in education between the foreign countries and China. Most of countries tend to pay more attention to students’ thinking abilities. In China, I feel examination score is more important than other sides. On the other hand, china’s students have more stress than the students educating in a foreign country. Even most of China’s parents have different aims required to their children to learn. There are many parents expecting their children to further in the other country no matter whether the children agree. So, some people’s abilities are also plain, even if they learned for several years in the other countries.
Of course, no everyone has condition to learn in a foreign university. If you want to apply for a college, your English level must pass the exam and the family can afford to provide higher fee than China’s college.
These are my points on the furthering education in a foreign country.
