1.大学生艺术节的内涵及意义
大学生文化艺术节最早是为了落实党的十六届六中全会及《中共中央国务院关于进一步加强和改进大学生思想政治教育的意见》精神，引导大学生积极参与和谐文明的文化建设，促进大学生全面的发展，由共青团、国家广电总局、中国教育部及全国校联联合举办的大型社团活动。
大学生艺术节是一种综合的校园文化活动，是整合校园现有的文化活动内容，集中放置在一段实践之内形成一定的声势及规模，打造校园文化活动新品牌，创造出有利于大学生健康全面成长的社会和校园氛围。通过丰富多彩的校园文化活动的开展，引导大学生加强自身文化道德素养，提高大学生的综合素质以及促进大学生德智体美劳的全面发展。从创新校园文化活动的内容和形式入手，促进校园文化建设以适应新时期的高校学生对校园文化的需求，促进高校文化底蕴的提升。
